RE:     MAGBOKASYON SA BAKASYON: OVERNIGHT YOUTH VIGIL FOR VOCATION IN CELEBRATION OF THE 54th WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

Dear Monsignor / Fathers / Brother / Sister:

Greetings of Peace!

Following our Lord Jesus’ command to “Pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, to send out laborers in his harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38 / Luke 10:2), as a diocese, we continue to pray for more holy vocations to the Church, commit ourselves to spread the prayer and promote vocations, and to become good laborers ourselves through evangelization of the children and youth, human promotion and help of the poor. By this, we can create a culture of prayer for vocations, where every person discovers God’s love and follow His call.

On the 54th World Day of Prayer for Vocations, celebrated on the Fourth Sunday of Easter (Good Shepherd Sunday), all PARISHES are invited and requested to send their respective youth delegates for an overnight YOUTH PRAYER VIGIL called “Magbokasyon sa Bakasyon” to be held at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, Multinational Village, Parañaque City. The theme of the event is “Led by the Spirit for Mission”. It will be a moment of prayer, talks and sharings among fellow youth. The said event is on May 6-7, 2017, from 7:30pm to 7:00am the next day.

With the approval from our dear Bishop, Most Rev. Jesse E. Mercado, D.D., we are cordially inviting young people from your parish communities to attend this special event. It is suggested that every parish community prepare them to a triduum of holy hour prepared for the event. Meanwhile, they are requested to bring extra clothes, sweater/jacket, and may bring bottled water/extra food for the event. Pre-registration details will be posted thru the Facebook page of MAGBOKASYON SA BAKASYON.

For other queries and concerns, you may contact Bro. John Francis Aberion, RCJ at  09982767134, jaberion@rcj.org, and Ms. Aika Bolda at 09154025210, jpbolda@gmail.com.

May this event inspire us to pray and work for more holy vocations!

God bless you!

Sincerely yours,

REV. FR. JOSEPH D. LANDERO                    REV. FR. JOHN PAUL B. FRIAS
