ATTENTION:          All Parish Priests, Parochial Vicars, Rectors of Shrines, Parish Administrators, Coordinators of CLPR,MLCP and MUGC

SUBJECT:                BASIC FORMATION SEMINAR FOR USHERS, GREETERS AND

COLLECTORS, and SACRISTANS/MOTHER BUTLER GUILD

 

Dear Fathers, Monsignori, Brothers and Sisters:

Peace!

This is to formally inform you of the forthcoming Basic Formation Seminar for Ushers, Greeters and Collectors (MUGC), and Sacristans (MS) / Mother Butler Guild (MBG) on                       23 February 2019, Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Diocesan Center for Evangelization, 8 Villonco Road, West Service Road, Muntinlupa City.

In view thereof, please send the following to this seminar:

For Ushers, Greeters and Collectors:

  1. Newly recruited members, 16 years old and not more than 75 years old.
  1. Existing members who were not able to attend any Basic Formation Seminar conducted and who are not yet commissioned.

For Sacristans (Sacristan Mayor)

  1. Newly recruited members, 18 years old and above
  1. Existing members who were not able to attend any Basic Formation Seminar conducted and who are not yet commissioned.

For Mother Butler Guild (MBG)

  1. Existing members who were not able to attend any Basic Formation Seminar conducted and who are not yet commissioned.

The seminar shall end with the proper commissioning of the members of the ministry, may I urge you to send lay workers who may fall in any of the categories mentioned above.

Please take note of the following requirements:

  1. A Letter of recommendation, duly signed by the parish priest(Please put  the full names of the participants and arrange them in alphabetical order)
  2. Please fax a copy of the letter of recommendation to the Office of the Pastoral Department at Telefax No. 850-9315, 807-9401 or email to gigicamballa@yahoo.com ONE WEEK BEFORE the scheduled seminar.
  3. The original copy of the Letter of Recommendation should be presented upon registration on the actual date of the seminar.
  4. Registration on the actual date of the seminar shall begin at 7:30 am.
  5. Participants are to register individually.

 

Food booths shall be made available where participants may buy their snacks and lunch.
