RE:      3rd LIVELIHOOD MINISTRY GENERAL ASSEMBLY, 16 MARCH 2019, 1PM-5PM, DIOCESAN CENTER FOR EVANGELIZATION

(This assembly follows the 5th Conference on Catholic Social Teaching in the morning.)

Dear Reverend Monsignori, Fathers, Brothers and Sisters,

The DOP Livelihood Ministry headed by Rev. Fr. Rustico “Rusti” Cruz invites you to the above activity titled, “Capability-building Program for Livelihood Ministry Coordinators and Members, Part 1.”

The main goal of the Capability-building Program is to equip Livelihood Ministry coordinators and members to respond to the livelihood needs of the poor in their respective parish communities, using as their basic tool a Livelihood Operations Manual which shall be launched during the assembly. Topics to be discussed are Organizing Parish Livelihood Ministry and Preparing for Program Implementation which are both important functions of the ministry, requiring effective collaboration with HAPAG-ASA Feeding Program, ComBANE and Parish Pastoral Council.

While many parishes are still in the process of building their Livelihood Ministry organizations and developing programs, those who have already established theirs and now have thriving programs shall be on hand to share not only their experiences and best practices, but also to showcase their products which we encourage you to patronize during the assembly.

Let us work together in empowering the poor alleviate themselves from poverty through your active participation during this assembly and diligent application of your learning experiences thereafter.

Sincerely yours in Jesus Christ,

MSGR. ALBERT VENUS

Chairman – COSHP
