RE: DIOCESAN PARISH CHURCHES CELEBRATING THEIR JUBILEE YEAR WITH PLENARY INDULGENCES FROM THE VATICAN

Peace be with you!

It is with great joy to inform everyone that the following Parishes in the Diocese of Parañaque are celebrating their Jubilee Year this 2019. The Apostolic Penitentiary from the Vatican has issued a Decree to each of these parishes, granting Plenary Indulgence to all lay faithful who will visit during the period of one (1) year starting from the date of their celebration:

Parish   Address
St. Joseph Parish 50th Foundation Anniversary (January 6, 2019 to January 6, 2020) 223 Quirino Avenue, Tambo, Parañaque City
Our Lady of Beautiful Love Parish 50th Foundation Anniversary (April 20, 2019 to April 20, 2020) 80 Washington Street, Merville Park Subdivision, Parañaque City

Jesus, the Divine Healer Parish 30th Foundation Anniversary (May 12, 2019 to May 12, 2020) 12 Lily Street, Tahanan Village, Parañaque City

Each of the decrees state that  “…The Apostolic Penitentiary, acting on the mandate of the Supreme Pontiff, freely grant plenary indulgence under the usual conditions, (namely, reception of the sacrament of Confession, Eucharistic Communion and prayer for the intention of the Supreme Pontiff),  to Christian faithful who are truly contrite, and who during the Jubilee visit the parish church and devotedly join the rite of the jubilee celebrations there, or spend some time in pius reflections concluded with the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed, and invocations to the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph…”

We encourage everyone to visit these parish churches and participate in their jubilee activities. May these special occasions be a season of grace to the Parishes and also to the whole Diocese. And may the inspiration of the Holy Family: St. Joseph, Mary and Jesus Christ be our guide in our journey of faith as we continue to celebrate the Year of the Youth in our diocese.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

(sgd.) REV. FR. CARMELO O. ESTORES
